Chancellor's student advisory boards
The Chancellor's Graduate and Professional Student Advisory board is intended to provide the opportunity for direct communication between the chancellor and graduate and professional students at the University of California, Davis. The board serves to inform students about activities within the Offices of the Chancellor and Provost and enables the chancellor to receive feedback from students about current strategic initiatives that the university is undertaking. The purpose of CGPSA is to advise the Offices of the Chancellor and Provost on major initiatives that impact the student experience on issues such as enrollment and retention, research and creative activity, student services, funding, diversity, international experiences, advising, and others.
The purpose of the Chancellor's Undergraduate Student Advisory Board is to advise the administration on major initiatives that impact the academic student experience on issues such as enrollment, research and creative activity, diversity, international experiences, advising, and other aspects of undergraduate student life. The board is composed of seven undergraduate students that represent various aspects of student and academic affairs along with the two Student Assistants to the Chancellor whom serve as the coordinators and facilitators for the committee, the Chancellor, and other administrative representatives.
