UC Davis Wears Red 2015
In February 2015, UC Davis is celebrating National Heart Month to help raise awareness with the entire UC Davis community that heart disease is the leading killer of women, as well as men, in the United States. Read all about it in the Dateline story.
Battle Heart Disease Fair and Heart Formation
Friday, February 6, 2015
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Join fellow UC Davis students, faculty, staff and community members in wearing red and forming a giant heart on Hutchison Field. Roughly 2,500 people came out last year, but we can certainly beat that mark in 2015. In addition, Alpha Pi Sigma, a sorority that addresses heart health as a special cause, will again organize the Battle Heart Disease Fair. The fair will be in tents around the heart formation zone. The fair begins at 11 a.m. and we'll form the heart at noon.
Don't forget to wear red that day. Affordably-priced and specially-designed red t-shirts are available at UC Davis Stores.
